how long do your lessons last?

GCSE and A level one to one tuition sessions normally last one hour

where do you run your classes?

I run my lessons mostly from my home in Beaconsfield.

However I can come to you if you are local by arrangement, although I do charge slightly more for this because of travel time.

when do you run classes?

For GCSE and A level tuition, I am generally able to offer lessons from 4pm - 6.30pm.

I don't offer lessons in the evening or at the weekend.

how much do your lessons cost?

I charge £40 per hour for one to one GCSE and A level tuition.

How do your lessons for GCSE and A level students work?

GCSE and A level exams are very different.

For GCSE I prepare students for the four skills required for the exam: speaking, listening, reading and writing. Over the years I found that most  students don't have enough speaking practice at school and need to build their confidence in this area.

For A Levels, the skills are the same but on a more thorough level with more complex topics. I would prepare the students for the four skills working alongside the work they do at school and focusing on their weakest areas.

I can also offer short term lessons before the exam to boost the student's level.

I have a current DBS certificate.

sounds great. how do i get started?

The best way is to book a trial lesson so that I can get to know the student better and their current level and come up with a tailored tuition plan to focus on specific areas.
